The Porch is about belonging before believing. It is a first step into Christian fellowship for those people seeking answers in a culture that encourages dialog and diversity. At the porch, we will welcome those questions, engage the postmodern culture, worship and build relationships.?
Why "The Porch"?
A porch is an intermediary space between being inside the house and being out on the street. A porch is informal, comfortable, welcoming to the home, a place to observe, a place to be part of the community, and yet integral with the house. The Porch is a transitional place for people. Those who have been on the street but are not ready to go into the house may feel more comfortable at the Porch. People who are looking for a place to belong can start on the Porch.
