Event Wrap-up

We were greeted with a gorgeous sunny day. After a beautiful ferry ride (we could see Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker very well), we all piled in the church van and headed to Cedarbrook Lavender Farm. We strolled the grounds, visited the vendor tents, and had lunch at their Garden Cafe. Then we headed in to the BIG Street Fair. About half the women stayed to peruse the fair, and the other half headed to the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Show. Our next stop was the Purple Haze Lavender Farm where several of us enjoyed various flavors of Lavender infused ice cream. The fields and gardens were beautiful, but soon it was time to head for home. One group made one more s top at the Sunshine Herb & Lavender Farm, but we all ended up on the same ferry to take us back to the "mainland". What an enjoyable day!
