Outdoor Adventure Group: Scenic River Float on the Skykomish River
Saturday, August 18, 2012 - 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join our Outdoor Adventures group for a river rafting float down the Skykomish River from Sultan to Monroe. This stretch has some smaller rapids, but nothing too big. We supply the equipment and guides, you supply a sense of adventure.
When: Saturday, August 18 at 10:00 am. We should be done about 5 pm.
Where: We will meet at the Sultan Riverfront Park. Directions: Hwy. 2 towards Sultan, turn left just before the bridge in Sultan.
Who: Anyone who wants to go (talk to Clemences about small children).
What to bring: Layered clothing for the weather, footwear and clothing that can get wet, water bottle, sack lunch. Water fights could happen!
Cost: $5.00 (cheap!) But you will need a State Discover Pass or a Fish and Wildlife access pass for each vehicle that parks on the launch site. There is free off-site parking within walking distance.
