Thomas has often been called the "Doubting Thomas", yet most all of the apostles were doubters at various times.
We ALL have doubted!
John 2019-21: Jesus' mere presence changed the disciples from men filled with varying degrees of doubt and fear to believers filled with joy and hope!
John 20:24-25: Fellowship with other believers helps strengthen our faith!
John 20:26-27: Jesus loved Thomas so much that He met him right at his point of weakness.
John20:28-29: When Thomas saw and heard Jesus, he was the first recorded witness after the resurrection to confess Jesus as his LORD and GOD!
Even a doubter can become a true believer!
True belief doesn't just acknowledge the resurrection of Jesus--true belief involves making a personal decision to follow Jesus--to become a faithful follower and obedient disciple.
