Rev. Rick Vinther
Pastor
Pastor Rick Vinther is a native of Washington state and attended college at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA where he received a BA in Business Administration in 1976. For the next 15 years, Rick worked with the nuclear industry in Richland, WA. During that time, he was being continually drawn to a closer relationship with God. In 1983 Rick and his wife, Sandy, professed their faith in Jesus Christ and began a new life of Christian commitment. After receiving a call from God into the pastoral ministry, Rick attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky from 1992-1995, where he received a Master of Divinity Degree.
Rick was ordained as a pastor in the United Methodist Church in 1994 and was appointed to Woodinville Community Church in July, 1999. He has a passion for introducing others to God's unconditional love and equipping them to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Rick has been married to his wife, Sandy, for 36 years. They have two adult sons and six grandchildren.
