WCUMC's 24-Hour Prayer Vigil
Thursday, May 26 at 6:00 AM through
Friday, May 27 at 7:00 AM
Woodinville Community Church is joining other congregations in Raising the Lord's Watch in King County, covering our region in 24-hour prayer between May 5 and June 12! And you can be a part of it!
Why during this period of time?
The largest number of Christians in our nation pray on the National Day of Prayer (May 5) and the largest number of Christians in the world pray on the Global Day of Prayer, June 12. By praying in between those two days we increase the power of prayer corporately. Join us as we pray for the world, our country, our county, our church and its outreach.
Come be a part of the Prayer Vigil!
Sign up to pray for one hour (or more) on the sign-up sheet in the foyer. Then come to the church at your assigned time. The sanctuary will be open for prayer during this 24-hour period. We hope every member of the congregation will participate.
Is praying for one hour a new experience for you?
Then step out in faith into this new venture. We will have some suggestions and guides on how to spend an hour in prayer. We hope you find that embarking on a significant time of prayer helps you put aside busyness and helps you concentrate on the Lord.
Please join us as we petition God that His Kingdom might be established and His will be done!
