Jesus, Barabbas, Pilate, the Crowd and You

Scripture: Matthew 27:20-26; Mark 15:1-15
When Jesus appeared before Pontius Pilate. Pilate recognized his innocence.
He agreed to the relase of a prisoner, as was the custom during Passover.
Two different kinds of a "Savior": Jesus - Spiritual; Barabbas - Political and Military.
Because Pilate wanted to satisfy the crowd, he gave in to the pressure and publicly washed his hands to absolve himself from any responsibility for Jesus' death.
How do you respond to Jesus? Do you give in to the pressure of "the crowd" or do you publicly acknowledge Jesus as your Savior?
Do your thoughts and actions follow that decision?
