James 4:1: "What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you".

These selfish desires are the cause of arguments and conflicts:

• The desire "to have" possessions and things.
• The desire "to feel" pleasure.
• The desire "to be" important (self-pride)

James 4:6: "But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.'"

The  cure for argument and conflict is HUMILITY!

Ways to overcome argument and conflict:

1. Total surrender of "self" to God (Submit)
2. Stand up to evil.
3. Grow closer to God.
4. Ask for forgiveness.

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." James 4:10.
