But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
1 Peter 2:9-10

• God established a new covenant through Christ's shed blood on the cross. Through this covenant, ALL believers in Christ (Jewish and Gentile believers alike) are God's chosen people.
• The Church brings hope and blessing to the nations.
• Sharing the Gospel with the nations is done through both Word and deed ... the Church has been used in many capacities to influence and better the world.
