Scripture: Mark 16:1-8
Many miracles in life that reveal God
- Creation (Rom. 1:20) For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
- Bible tells of Living Savior
- Greatest Miracle of All - Jesus (Mark 16:5-8) The angel tells the women who go to the tomb that Jesus is alive. One of those women was Mary Magdalene, who had been forgiven by Jesus. Jesus forgave many when he was on earth.
- God's Forgiveness - I'm a sinner - we're all sinners, but God never gives up on us
- Questions:
- Are you running away from God?
- Are you living for God or just going through the motions?
- We have a choice - receive or reject what Christ has done for us
- God knows where we are--trapped in depression, trapped in sin, in broken relationship, needing a job ... Jesus is the reason to go on. He picks us up-pulls us up. No mater what tomb your sin has sealed you in, Jesus can roll away that stone and give you a new life - but you must be willing.
- Nothing is more miraculous than God's love for us (John 3:16-17) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
- God is calling you back home
- Make this prayer of confession your own.
