About Us

About WCUMC

Welcome to WCUMC! We are a neighborhood United Methodist church in the beautiful Seattle suburb of Woodinville, Washington.  We are a family with a wonderful mix of ages, gifts and talents. We are on a journey together, learning to love God and each other, help others, and walk by faith. We'd love to help you on your own journey of faith as well. We invite you to experience the transforming power of Christ in your life as together we act to make a difference in the world around us. We hope that you will come join us to experience God's great love and grace.

Our Values & Beliefs

Woodinville Community United Methodist Church is committed to making followers of Jesus Christ who know him, love him and worship him. We are called to be disciples who reflect the image of Jesus Christ, serve God in the world around us, and lead others into relationship with Him. We follow the Great Commission of Jesus to "go and make disciples of all nations", and the Great Commandment to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind", and to "love your neighbor as yourself." Our Vision

"To share the transforming love of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world."

Our Story

Our church began in 1871 when Mrs. Ira Woodin (the family for whom Woodinville is named) opened her home to hold Sunday School classes. When Woodinville built its first school in 1892, the Sunday School moved there, but in 1902, the people of Woodinville felt it was time to have a church building of their own.
