Scripture:  Lue 2:8-20

The Shepherds

• Lived destitute, marginal lives
• Were the poorest of the poor
• Yet, the first announcement of God's incarnation came to them

1. In the midst of their daily living, the shepherds were open to listening to the Lord.
2. Their FEAR turned to JOY!
3. After hearing from and being encouraged by the Lord, they WENT to see Jesus (they took action)!
4. They told others about Jesus (the 1st Evangelists)
5. They gave glory and praise to God.

Do we respond with humble faith as the sheperds did?

Do we... Listen - Observe - Believe - Tell others - Praise God?
